These Terms & Conditions apply to use of the Ascend Enterprises LLC website and services. By submitting and confirming a service request, you agree to the applicable terms, pricing, and service conditions presented to you.
Ascend Enterprises LLC provides personalized grocery shopping, retail shopping, errands, pickups, local delivery, and related convenience services within approved service areas.
Services are subject to availability, store hours, scheduling capacity, weather, safety, retailer availability, and other reasonable operating conditions.
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance. Ascend may accept, modify, reschedule, or decline a request when necessary.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service details, locations, shopping requests, delivery instructions, and other information necessary to complete the requested service.
Customers are responsible for applicable merchandise costs and separately disclosed Ascend service charges.
Ascend charges may include shopping or service fees, delivery-zone adjustments, rush service, small-order charges, convenience pricing, additional-store services, or other approved add-ons.
Applicable charges will be disclosed before the customer confirms the service.
Retailer prices, inventory, taxes, weighed items, and substitutions may cause the final merchandise total to differ from an estimate.
Tips are optional.
Ascend may require estimated merchandise funds and applicable service charges before shopping begins. An additional merchandise buffer may be collected to cover reasonable changes involving weighed items, substitutions, price differences, or approved additions.
After checkout, Ascend will reconcile prepaid merchandise funds with the actual retailer receipt. Unused refundable merchandise funds will be returned or credited through the applicable payment method.
Customers may provide backup selections or substitution preferences.
If an item and its approved backup are unavailable, Ascend may contact the customer. If approval is required and the customer does not respond within a reasonable period, the unavailable item may be removed and not charged.
Significant customer-requested changes may require additional approval or payment.
Ascend’s standard cancellation policy is:
Before shopping begins: No Ascend cancellation charge.
After shopping begins but before checkout: 50% of the applicable Ascend service charge may apply, subject to a $5 minimum.
After retailer checkout: The full Ascend service charge may apply. Merchandise refunds depend on retailer eligibility and return policies.
After delivery travel begins: The full service charge applies, along with any applicable disclosed return or redelivery charge.
If Ascend cancels a service before performing the applicable work for reasons not caused by the customer, customers will not be charged for unperformed Ascend services.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and reasonably safe delivery location.
Orders may be left unattended only when authorized by the customer and when reasonably appropriate. Customers should remain reasonably available for communications involving delivery, substitutions, or other order decisions.
Retailer merchandise returns are subject to the individual retailer’s policies. Ascend cannot guarantee that a retailer will accept a return.
Certain products, including perishable, refrigerated, opened, clearance, pharmacy, alcohol, or otherwise restricted merchandise, may not qualify for return.
A customer-caused return trip may result in a $15 return-service charge. Customers will not be charged that fee when the return is caused by an Ascend error.
When Ascend approves a refund, it will be initiated through the applicable payment method. The customer’s bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
Customers agree to:
Ascend may decline or discontinue service because of safety concerns, fraud, harassment, threatening behavior, payment problems, or misuse of the service.
Ascend is an independent service business. Retailers, payment processors, website providers, and other third parties maintain their own policies and systems.
Ascend cannot guarantee third-party inventory, pricing, return decisions, processing times, technology availability, or other matters outside Ascend’s reasonable control.
Ascend will use reasonable care when providing services but is not responsible for delays or failures resulting from circumstances reasonably outside its control, including severe weather, traffic emergencies, retailer closures, inventory shortages, technology outages, or similar events.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit customer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Ascend may update these Terms as services, pricing, technology, or business operations change. Updated terms will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Michigan.
